Just a quick heads up that the first day of the Highland Park Farmer’s Market is tomorrow behind the Hastings Museum from 8-12.  We’ll have many greens, such as Kale, Collards, and Swiss Chard, as well as tri color baby beet bunches (early wonder, golden, and chioggia), head lettuce, turnips, broccoli, and a few herbs (including Basil!). We hope to see you there.

On a quick side note, Will and I split our first tomato off the vine today.  They are full of big green fruit so we hope to have them soon!  The Back Alley Bakery has been using our produce for the first time as well too!  They made a delicous Kale salad with Parsley, a beet salad with a red wine vinagrette, and broccoli soup! Yum!
